Born in 1967 in Kanagawa, Japan

Amae composes images through various media, such as painting, sculpture and photography, which he then combines them to create "virtual realistic mythologies" using computer.

The exhibited work is Fiction, 1998, computer print, 182 x 212 cm, in which Amae builds a contemporary tower of Babel in a virtual space. This is the latest version of the series exhibited in France last summer.
