Coindet transfers familiar objects into signs. She first designs them by computer and prints them out or turns them into sculpture, employing both virtual and physical media.

Flower, 1994, sponge, height 2m, shows the perverted juxtaposition of a computer-generated flower turning into a physical being. The photograph on the exhibition flyer shows her computer graphic printed on a T-shirt. (The man wearing the T-shirt is not Coindet. Coindet took the photograph.) Wall Paper, a computer graphic, will be also exhibited.
